The SDN Salon is an informal networking opportunity for SDN members to present and view documentary photography. Bring a cup of tea or coffee (or absinthe if you prefer), your work in progress or portfolio, ideas to discuss, or just yourself. This virtual meeting is an opportunity to share your work, view work of others, and to talk about any issues that are relevant to being a documentary photographer in 2025.

Portraits and testimony of 17 men and women who have experienced long-term solitary confinement.
Window into Solitary is a photography exhibition in conjunction with the publication of Ending Isolation: The Case Against Solitary Confinement, a new book by Christopher Blackwell, Prof. Deborah Zalesne, Kwaneta Harris, and Dr. Terry Kupers exposing the cruel and unusual punishment experienced by close to 125,000 of our fellow citizens each day inside prisons across America.
